nbsp;The Kurucz solar source function [1992], which has been used in our research in shortwave radiation [Mlawer et al., 2000], is based on theoretical radiative transfer calculations for the solar atmosphere.   The solar source function is available is at a high spectral resolution (i.e. for monochromatic calculations) and 1 cm^-1 resolution.
