PHOTOSYNTHESIS [Анг.]

Преобразование солнечной энергии в химическую в растительных тканях.

The process by which green plants use light to synthesize organic compounds from carbon dioxide and water. In the process oxygen and water are released. Increased levels of carbon dioxide can increase net photosynthesis in some plants. Plants create a very important reservoir for carbon dioxide.
NASA Earth Observatory

Photosynthesis - Photosynthesis is a biological process which plays a vital role in cycling the atmosphere's carbon dioxide, while simultaneously producing oxygen and other complex substances. Green plants, with chlorophyll, utilize the sun's energy to convert carbon dioxide and water into the plant biomass while oxygen that is released into the atmosphere.
