Chloroethane (@1646)
Хлорэтан, хлорэтил [Rus.]

Chloroethane - this manmade VOC is highly reactive in the atmosphere. It is a gas at room temperature and when released, it readily reacts with oxidizing agents. This releases the chlorine atoms to circulate and break down ozone in the troposphere. The carbon and hydrogen atoms are released to be further oxidized to create CO2 and HO. Chloroethane is often used in the manufacturing and production of insecticides, dyes and drugs.
