Project is oriented on the implementation Internet accessible information-computational system in molecular spectroscopy domain. The basic components of the system (databases, interfaces and workflows) are formed on the base of applied ontologies. These ontologies are formed for molecular spectroscopy domains and associated domains. The aim of the project is to construct the computerized support for the collective investigations.
The system for checking validity of typical kind of spectroscopic data is a principal feature of the system. The validity is based on checking of two groups of restrictions: value and existence restrictions. Now there are not analogous systems contained such detailed data, information and knowledge for a few molecules. The parts of the systems can be used as prototypes for construction the applied information system in molecular spectroscopy built on three layer architecture. The computed logical theory of information resources of the domain represent our understanding of the Semantic Web.
